Who can enjoy the Museum?
Our goal is to make the Museum fun for both men and women, boys and girls. Yes, there is the punch and kick aspect of the Museum, but more importantly, there is history, artistry and more. It is a glimpse into Asian history and the positive influence the martial arts has had on the West. It is a look at how the martial arts plays a unique role in culture and tradition. It’s about learning about other peoples and understanding past generations.
The Museum provides a self-guided tour and if you read and watch all the videos, it will take a minimum of 40 minutes (some people have taken 3 hours). Flash photography and videos are permitted and encouraged in the Museum. You will learn about things you never imagined.
The Museum is an excellent place for large groups and special visitations. From martial arts schools, unified school districts and home schools, the Museum has so much to offer and kids have a fun time actually learning about history.
GROUP RATES are applied to children visiting in large groups of 20 or more. Sorry,
adults are not provided with a group rate. For group rates, you must visit the Museum
either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Sorry, no group rates when the Museum is
open to the public. We need to be notified at least 3 weeks in advance in order to prepare
for the large group (tour, scavenger hunt provided).
